The Blackhawks officially released their 2018 training camp roster this afternoon and there were no big surprised added. The only non roster player invited to camp is defenseman Brandon Davidson, who previously played in Montreal and Edmonton.
Of the players on the list, there are 30 forwards, 20 defensemen, and seven goalies. Several roster spots could be up for grabs, with players like Dylan Sikura, Henri Jokiharju, Victor Ejdsell, Dominik Kahun, Dennis Gilbert, Blake Hillman , Lucas Carlsson Joni Tuulola and Jacob Nilsson all making their full-time move to the North American pro game.
Training camp begins Friday September 14th and runs through the remainder of the month of September. The preseason games begin this Tuesday, September 18, in Columbus and the first regular season game will be Thursday, October 4, in Ottawa against the Senators.
