Blackhawks re-sign center Dylan Strome to two-year extension

The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed center Dylan Strome to a two-year contract extension ($3 million AAV). The deal runs through the end of the 2021–22 season. Strome will remain a restricted free agent at the end of the contract.

In his first full season with the Blackhawks, the 2015 third-overall pick scored 38 points (12 goals, 26 assists) in 58 regular season games and three points in nine playoff games. Strome was acquired during the 2018–19 season from the Arizona Coyotes along with Brendan Perlini in exchange for Nick Schmaltz. Strome has totaled 105 points over 164 career games.

Strome will join the Blackhawks tomorrow for the first day of on-ice sessions at training camp.
