The Blackhawks Rinkcast Rumbles into 2018

2018 is the year of The-Rink.com, Rinkrats. We are all really proud of what the website and podcast are becoming and the sky is the limit.  It is time to climb aboard, like The Great Space Coaster.

The Great Space Coaster
I thought that now would be a good time to give you some information on the plans for The Rinkcast. This way you all know what to expect and can submit questions ahead of time

First of all, though, I want to thank our recent guests: Patrick Judge of the band Demon Hunter (Ep.9), Scott Powers of The Athletic Chicago (Ep.10) and Justin Goldman from The Goalie Guild (Ep.11). We will certainly have them all on again. If you have not listened, you are missing out on some great content. Take some time to download and listen in because you will find all three guests really entertaining and informational in their own way.

The Blackhawks Rinkcast Rumbles into 2018
As we plan ahead for this year, we are working on bringing new interesting and unique guests to The Rinkcast. Dates are not set yet, but these are a few of the guests we already have confirmed:

Pete Rutili from ACME World Sports
Pete Rutili – Partner/Senior Vice President of ACME World Sports and NHLPA Certified Player Agent
Pete and ACME represent Blackhawks players such as Vince Hinostroza, Jordan Oesterle, Tanner Kero, Ville Pokka, Anthony Louis, and Henri Jokiharju. Pete brings an interesting perspective on the game and the inner workings of the NHL from the player agent point of view.

Mark Holcomb of Periphery
Mark Holcomb – Guitarist from the band Periphery
Mark is a Chicago native and huge Blackhawks fan. He is another crossover guest that has a unique perspective, living in Spain and playing in a band full of Washington Capitals fans. Much like Patrick Judge and Justin Goldman, he scratches that heavy metal/hockey itch for me, and is a really talented musician.

Actor Jeff Glover
Jeff Glover – Actor
Jeff is a Schaumburg native, graduate/class president of Schaumburg High School in 1990, Blackhawks fan, plays hockey for his old beer league team The Chicago Clowns once a year, and has a tremendously fine haircut. He has appeared in such familiar shows and films as The Walking Dead, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay – Part 1, “I, Tonya”, Captain America: Civil War, Vacation (2015), Ant-Man, Dumb and Dumber To, and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues just to name a few.

We hope you enjoy all of these guests as much as we do. Please feel free to send in your questions to @TheRinkcast on Twitter, email at podcast@the-rink.com, or add them in the comments below.
