After an outstanding two games this past weekend, Indy Fuel goaltender Matt Tomkins was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week. Tomkins also won this award with the Fuel last year in December.
Tomkins has led the Fuel to a 3-1 record so far this year, all over divisional opponents, including two this past weekend against the Cincinnati Cyclones and the Toledo Walleye.
