High on the Hog
Commesso earning the victory on opening night is an excellent start for the former second-round pick out of the U.S. National Team Development Program and Boston University. Commesso also added an assist on the second Gust goal.
Rolston scored his first AHL goal, set up by Luypen’s first AHL point.

Gust played an excellent game on opening night after being a late cut by the Blackhawks in training camp. The 29-year-old Orland Park, Illinois, native will bring a ton of respect and leadership to a young Rockford squad.
