Kraken Anchor Points — Day off notes

The Seattle Kraken take today as a much-needed second day (of three) off before facing the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday. The puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST.

To make room for Colin Blackwell to make his Kraken debut on Saturday, Riley Sheahan was placed on waivers and eventually sent to the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL.

The Kraken made the following announcement regarding COVID-19 protocols:

In compliance with an updated mandate from Washington state, Climate Pledge Arena requires all guests, ages 12 and over, attending Kraken games, concerts and events to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test, taken in the 72 hours before the event. This takes effect on November 15th.

In the near-term, all guests will also be required to wear a mask while attending events until further guidance from Washington state.

We will be recording the latest Kraken Hostile Rinkcast on Thursday evening, featuring Dylan and RJ from Emerald City Hockey.
