We hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season! So much has happened in the last few weeks, and we are back to give you all the Seattle Kraken news.
⚓ Forward Brandon Tanev underwent successful surgery on his injured knee. He will miss the remainder of the 2021–22 season, but should make a full recovery for the 2022–23 season.
⚓ Forward Jaden Schwartz will undergo hand surgery and will miss 4–6 weeks. He is expected to make a full recovery.
⚓ Goaltender Joey Daccord and forward Kole Lind were temporarily assigned to the Kraken taxi squad, but then officially sent back to the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL.
⚓ Games vs. the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets were all postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. The next Kraken game is Monday in Denver against the Colorado Avalanche. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. PST.
