Kraken Anchor Points — Opening night postmortem

The Seattle Kraken fought back last night, only to be dispersed by a questionable game-winning Vegas Golden Knights goal. The season will, shockingly, continue though. As a result, there are a few moves and announcements that were released today.

Dave Hakstol announced that forward Marcus Johansson will be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury sustained in last night’s loss.

To replace Johansson, Kole Lind was recalled from Charlotte. The 22-year-old will undoubtedly make his Kraken debut in the coming few games.

Forward Alexander True was sent to Charlotte, where he will get some much-needed playing time.

With the cupboard full of defensemen, Dennis Cholowski was put on waivers and will end up in Charlotte, if he clears.

Mike Benton, formally of the Everett Silvertips coverage, joined the 950-AM KJR radio team hosting Pre-Game, Post-Game, and Intermission coverage for the Kraken.

The Climate Pledge Arena app has been released. Manage & store your concert & game tickets, link your CLEAR health pass, plan your transportation, plus much more. Here are the details:
