One of the most fun signs that Hockey season is just around the corner is the release of EA Sports’ NHL video game. This year’s installation, NHL 19, has been releasing their Top 50 players in the game lists, alongside similar lists from the NHL Network and SportsNet. On Monday, EA released their Top 10 players in the game, and Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane landed as the eighth-highest rated player in the game, at 91 overall.
EA Sports Rates Patrick Kane As The Best Player On Blackhawks Roster
For another season, Patrick Kane will be the highest-rated player in the EA Sports NHL series. For the last two seasons, Kane has led the Blackhawks in the EA ratings, having last been out-rated in NHL 16 by Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith. At 91 overall, Kane will begin the NHL 19 season with the same rating that he finished the last NHL 18 roster update with.
To the surprise of few, Kane is arguably the biggest offensive key to the Blackhawks’ success in the 2018-19 season, and will be the go to player in the game on the Chicago roster. Leading the Blackhawks in scoring for the last three seasons in a row, Kane has finished in the top three of scoring for the Blackhawks every year of his career.

Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, and Alex Ovechkin take the top three ranks, with McDavid being the highest rated player in the game as the only 94 overall rated player. EA Sports NHL 19 is scheduled to be released fully to the public on September 14.
