SUMMARY:
Coming off a home game the Hawks should have won (and did), this is a road game they should win. The Senators, even when 100% healthy (which they’re not), are not a good team.
The Hawks did some things better in the Edmonton game on Sunday. Looking at the numbers, they’re faceoff and penalty kill numbers are on the rise the last couple of games, which may have something to do with the elevation of center David Kampf from Rockford. My theory has been that Kampf may be taking hard minute pressure off Jonathan Toews as well, and as a result, the Toews line has been clicking the last couple of games as well.
